Meet Ellen
I've loved jewellery for as long as I can remember.
To me jewellery is never just decoration.
Jewellery has always been a way to express who I am — a place where my creativity could thrive and where I stayed connected to myself.
My own experiences growing up led me to a career helping young people. Eventually I became the director of a secondary school for students with special needs.
It was deeply meaningful work, but over time I realised I had drifted away from an important part of myself: my creativity.
After experiencing burnout, I found my way back to that part of myself.
Aurora grew from that return — a way to back to what had always inspired me: adornment, self-expression and identity.
How I Curate
Every piece is chosen by hand.
I look for jewellery with presence.
Pieces with character rather than perfection.
Aurora is drawn to remarkable stones, bold silhouettes and meaningful symbols.
