Why I created Aurora

After years of building a career in education,

I realised I had drifted away from an important part

of myself: my creativity.

Aurora grew from a darker season of my life,

one that challenged me but ultimately helped me grow.

Through jewellery, I reconnected

with a part of myself I had been missing.

Aurora became a way to back to what had always

inspired me: adornment, self-expression and identity.

I chose the garden as the heart of Aurora

because a garden grows in seasons.

Nothing blooms all year.

Before new growth appears, there is often a season

of rest, darkness and quiet transformation.

Just like a garden, we grow in our own time.

And often, the most beautiful things emerge

from the seasons that challenge us most.
